Project Main Objective The department of inorganic chemistry holds an accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 (International Organization for Standardization / International Electrochemical Commission). The main object is to add new parameters to participate in CALA (Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, total phosphorus, ammonia) proficiency testing for analysis to provide assurance to customers on the quality and competence of the laboratory. Project Specific Objectives • Purchase a new ICP-MS model Nexion 300. • Adding new parameters to participate in CALA, and held on ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation certificate • Training the department staff on the new device of ICP-MS model Nexion 300.
